Whistling Duck Alpacas
Whistling Duck Alpacas is a small herd of sensational prize winning alpacas located in the scenic Amber Valley in Derbyshire. We have a combination of Hucaya and Suri alpacas both provide soft, durable, luxurious and silky natural fiber. While similar to sheep's wool, alpaca fleece is warmer, less prickly, and has no lanolin, which makes it hypoallergenic.
If you are an animal lover looking for a perfect pet with a gentle and inquisitive nature combined with good looks alpacas are the perfect choice. If you are looking for a hobby or interested in a full commercial breeding enterprise, then alpacas provide investment opportunities at many levels. Their herding and protective instincts also make them great guardians for other forms of livestock so ideal for the small holder or farmer.

Looking to add something special to your herd? Whistling Arabian Night is now a proven alpaca stud. In his first year siring Champion Black Female at the British Alpaca Futurity and Heart of England Spring Fiesta. This young female was also awarded Judges Choice as being a truely outstanding black Suri. Not forgetting the boys he also sired the Champion Black male at the British Alpaca Futurity.
